Current carrying charges (i.e., "rent") (effective as of Sept. 1, 2009) are as follows:
1 Bedroom - 1 Bath.......$453.00 (with Surcharge $498.30)
2 Bedroom - 1 Bath.......$479.00 (with Surcharge $526.90)
3 Bedroom - 1 1/2 Bath...$511.00 (with Surcharge $562.10)

Included in monthy Carrying Charges:
gas and water
The stove, water heater, and furnace are operated by gas.

NOT included in Carrying Charges:

electricity, telephone charges and any related repair
washer and dryer hook-ups
cable

Move-in Costs:
Membership fee:
$2,000 (Two thousand dollars)

First month's Carrying Charges (see above)
Carrying Charges must be paid separate from Membership Fee.

Credit Processing Fee :
$50.00 credit processing fee is required and is non-refundable. (Effective 09/01/09)

A credit check is ran on everyone over the age of 18 listed on the application.

Criminal background check:

Effective September 1, 2002, a criminal background check will be performed on all applicants over the age of 18.

Financial Limitations:
The University Townhouses Cooperative is federally assisted housing and follows a use agreement with HUD. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has set the following income limitations, applicable only at time of move-in:
